Regurgitating same old story...

Regurgitating same old story...

It is a reasonably good movie,because it follows the path of the least resistance,bringing out nothing new and filming along the lines of more successful and better films.

The good things about it:the presence of a few very good actors,like James Caan and Famke Jenssen,good idea of flashbacks,telling the whole story,in the fight's between rounds time,which creates a certain flow;solid cinematography and story.

The not so good things:not very compelling story,a lot of drama fitted into a small,short movie(it's like the writer tried to put as much complicated problems into the life of main character as possible to make watchers feel something at all;Dominic Purcell(let's be truthful here)))is not an actor whatsoever,not even a B one...he did o'k in"prison break" being a not so clever ,but brutish brother and the role fitted him well;but after in real cinema he is as inspiring as a piece of wood...basically capable of projecting just a few uncomplicated emotions...

All in all,if you have some free time,you can check it out,but be warned:it will make no difference in your cinematography experiences)))
